You want something. You’ve got a goal. And you’d like to accomplish it right now.
But that’s not how it works, does it? Maybe you’ve heard of the 10,000-hour rule - the idea that it takes 10,000 hours of practice, or 10,000 repetitions, to become really good at something.
But what if you don’t want to wait that long? Well, I suppose that’s where patience comes in and the mindset to keep up the motivation and confidence in the meantime.
Caroline Weihl is in the middle of that journey. She started getting into bodybuilding about four years ago and suspects she’ll have several years ahead of her before she reaches the professional level. And you really can’t skip ahead when it comes to your body. You have to put in the work consistently.
In this episode of the Live Your Story podcast, Caroline and I talk about everything from confidence and mindset to getting out of your way and the concept of under-eating. She talks about her perspective from working in agriculture to now prepping meals and bodybuilding.
